Balls_tothe_Walls (Heath Helton) is a scammer

Hmm

When you do a google search for Heath Helton balls to the walls - a link to this thread is the first thing that shows. Good - maybe some folks will be saved from this thief.

I still say that if this guy had any desire to make this right he would have told the bank what charges on his card were correct and which ones may be fraud. He did not. He knowingly stuck it to many of our members here and elsewhere. This is a fact and is very telling of his true character. Helton is a scammer - nothing more.

Did anyone here actually get some restitution from him recently or just empty promises? A few have said he was supposed to send them something. I would be careful - even if he does - sounds like it might be stolen property.

I would certainly let the receiver know that.
I have heard Balls lame excuse for taking the money of those he paid-credit card fraud. Does anyone know his excuse for not sending items to those that paid him, such as the guy that just received this PT- sounds like he waited some time before getting it.

This is like a knife-a-mid scheme? Steal from one guy, and give to another? Maybe like a "Robbing the Hood (Robin Hood)" type of deal? Steals from the rich, and gives to the poor? I'm teasing, of course, but this guy has no shame!

It's amazing, how many people he nailed!

Back in the day, you could run from this kind of crap, reinvent yourself, and go on with your life. But now, it's hard to get away from the Internet, and Google. Financially, he'll pay for this, IMO.

"Hmm, we're thinking about hiring this guy Heath Helton, somebody Google him, and see if we can find anything! Oh chit, he did what?"

Picture, a date of birth, anything, so whomever looks him up, can conclude it's the same guy! Any help?

Mate, I'm the one who just got the PT, I paid him $370usd ppal f&f to get it here to Australia, after paying I saw posts on fbook and insta about the whole situation, I messaged him asking if he actually sent it, two days ago it showed up. He has the money I paid him, so he needs to make it right, I'll message him now, he is still on insta, this whole thing blows, I buy, sell, trade all over the world as well as come to the states for the Gathering, and I've never seen a fubar situation like this.
 
So he makes good on one deal, and it is by selling a stolen knife to someone from another country that paid via F&F?

This is the one time that the buyer would have had near zero recourse, if Heath Helton balked... I guess he is trying to keep his name "good" on Facebook to draw in more victims?
 
Is it possible to start a Facebook page, using someone's name in the title, detailing only facts (as not be be slanderous), to promote community knowledge about a situation like this? Or is that something Facebook shuts down. I have no idea as I don't use Facebook.

There are groups that exist specifically to spread the word about people like this.

What are they Wolfe? It's hard being in Australia not knowing who to do business with, my rule from now on is dealing only with USN members or people I've met on trips to the states. I've bought, sold, traded world-wide, but this situation is making me really lose my faith..

One is called EDC Deal or No Deal. No selling allowed, call-out ans reference checks only.

Thanks Wolfe, you know there is a quite a few of us aussies in the CRK and CRK bst groups, all our guys in our Aus edc groups need to know about this, cheers.

I don't know either Joe, normally only do that for people I know and have done business with before. I honestly just wrote it off as a loss to my own stupidity and then it turned up. I messaged him this morning asking if he had fixed things with the original owner, especially because he had the money I paid him, no response yet. I consider myself fortunate because most of my knives I buy and sell overseas are alot more than this one, and he did try to get me to buy a whole group of knives too. I hope this gets sorted real soon. Down here we have our community members looking after one another, whether raising funds through raffles/giveaways for those that need it, or just giving folks great deals because they can't afford it. This type of thing turns a hobby/passion into a bloody nightmare.
