Congrats? Bladite.
A step back is frustrating, but creating all new is cool.
Plus pay checks are helpful to many life goals.
a step back can be a good thing
esp if i'm "my own commander"

It will definitely be ffg or possibly even a bit of a convex grind. Thanks for volunteering GSOM to make some Mikecarta. Does he know about it yet?
Yes he does. In spirit. Soon, consciously. He's frothing..
Convex that bad boy! (No, not Mike, he's totally, unreservedly and unapologetically concave)..
In your dreams big boy....
Doc
More like yours. I know how much you like old 4x4's.![]()

Dang. Gotta get me one of them now. Is this the Magua 2.0 I read about?
Trailmate is the only one I've heard for that one. I haven't heard of a Magua 2.0. There are some interesting blade profiles out there floating around though. Search around and you'll find a few trailing points to drool over.Trailmate. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ange-Your-Snark-Plugs?p=14546775#post14546775
Perhaps he did change the name.

My comment in Todd's picture thread stemmed from my experience that almost every Magua I've handled is a bit different. They are handmade, so they have their own character. Derek's is a bit different than Murph's, Murph's is a bit different from mine and mine is a bit different from my wife's. It seems that over the years it has developed a bit more belly, a bit more blade length and a bit more handle.... And I liked it..... A lot.
That Trailmate is dead sexy though. I'd love to see more of them, but I still need a Yuma, TW and M-18 as well as a few customs I have floating around in me head and one of those sweet ass bowies Todd can cook up.
No worries! I figured my post last night chatting with Gunyon probably wasn't the most clear. I kind of expect Todd to chime in with something like "Well now I didn't really redesign the Magua... blagh blagh blagh... Handmade.... blagh blagh blagh.... evolution of the.... blagh blagh blagh..." It will be poignant, well written and will more than likely leave me in the corner ultimately like so: :foot:. It's happened before and it'll happen again.I read something somewhere about some changes to the magua that I may have misunderstood. Might have been your post, might have been someone else. I dunno.
I appreciate the sentiment.Nobody puts Jerry in the corner..
...plus a little 'wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more' this morning. The power of flowers. Un. F@king. Real.
It is a sweet looking blade. I really like it....a lot. I have the Yuma, and Hornet. An M-18 will be mine one of these days.Keep it up, guys! We need to see more of these.

I was in the city of Antwerp today for something work related. From the train station, I had to walk some 15-20 minutes to my destination. Of course, the talk of the town is the Paris attacks and its consequences, the so called link to a certain community in Belgium where they might have planned it etc. etc.
Anyway, while I was waiting at a red light, I overheard some kids (between 10-12) talking about the subject and -I hope this doesn't spark anything political or anything- one of the boys kept reassuring the others and saying: "Hey guys, don't worry ok? The US is going to help us for sure!"...
Thought that was cute. But it says a lot as well if you think about it...

let me know if you want to spend some quality time with an M18 that will fit your hand better than most before shelling out the $$$.
