that's a beautiful knife, daizee. I'm not a big fan of sheepsfoot, but that one is a game changer!
 
made this AEB-L necker for a friend, who gifted it to his wife and loving it because he finally convinced her to carry a knife:

more AEB-L, this one has a handle made out of old boxing straps (I swear I washed them before making it :D)

A lot like a big brother to that one. I gave that one too a buddy who retired from work. Which is one reason I modded my BK13. Maybe the reason I need that one.
 
Not much, but I picked up some stainless hardware locally, sandblasted the blade and handles. I think the sandblasted finish looks great and the handles are now much grippier with a matte chalky finish to them!

Damn, daiz.....I sure hope you'll be at the Fall Gathering with some of those.....gonna be saving up my quarters until then. Sweet looking wharnie (-ish looking profile. I can see the cutting edge isn't flat....but I'm not sure what else to call it).

Yeah, it's sort of a semi-sheepsfoot/wharncliffe. A semi-wharnsheep? A sheepcliffe? That's it!. A strictly straight edge drives me nuts for the kind of cutting I tend to do, and the tip tends to get all the wear. Once again, I thank Derek for this profile. There are now 3 in the world.
 
Yes, well.....three is not nearly enough. D-rock should not have put that out into the world if you're going to be stingy with the blade making. Tease.
