Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

Anytime you might find yourself in the PNW, hit me up. The cities aren't too grand anymore (which suits me fine since I am out in the country) but it's still a fantastic place to visit.
Dylan I love your pictures with the stream in the background. I’ve always lived around water. I live on the same lake I lived on since I was a kid, and I love it, but there is nothing like cold, clear, moving water.

I hope everyone is having a terrific weekend.

Went to McGurk’s in Soulard before the game for some wings and a few McGurk’s Irish Reds. Couldn’t pull out the win but it was a great game and we had a great time.
Beautiful Stag Jon. 👍
Soulard has so many good places to go to. Blues city deli and bogarts are my personal favorites

Scrimshaw Pilsner from North Coast Brewing Company

This is a classic red ale.

I’d put North Coast Brewing Company as one of those iconic California breweries. In the same boat as Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, Russian River, Ballast Point and Stone.

I might be the only one who noticed the Coast Guard small boats in the background

I received at least 26 beer containers of various sizes as Christmas/birthday gifts on December 19, the first full day our daughter was home for 3 days in the week leading up to Christmas. One of them that I drank before Christmas Day arrived was this "traditional" stout from Bell's Brewery, a Michigan craft brewer that hit the "big time". No fancy, inexplicable flavorings, just a pleasant old-fashioned stout. Probably my favorite "always available" beer from Bell's.

Yea, we got to watch them leave and come back to dock everyday. It was pretty cool. What are those crafts used for?
Those are “small boats”. I’ve never been at a small boat station. Usually they do search and rescue, and law enforcement. They do have to get underway a lot to maintain proficiencies and conduct training.

Interesting thanks for the answers!

Accentuate "the positive"..no work for a while...but I scored an awesome old clockwork trainset.

I'm really beginning to like a good rye... Jack Daniels single barrel is nice.... as I get older, I prefer my whiskeys to be smoother, without the "bite"... the few ryes I've tried are all pretty smooth...
.... needs more research, of course...
