beware of Igor aka benyaM95 Ranger Knif

That is not a factory edge. I'm not trying to argue, but I know what Spyderco factory edges look like.

I suppose I'm not the most qualified person to say whether or not it's a factory edge since I have owned only two Spydies ever. And they were both used :foot:.

Back to the topic at hand...

That was the first thing I noticed as well. Maybe just the way the pic. looks but it would be interesting to compare to another Military.

Well I believe I read in one of the OP's post that he has 5 other millies so if so I'm sure he can do a photo for us.

Here's a factory edge on a S90V.

The clip is the first part of a knife that shows wear. A NIB knife should have zero wear on the clip, obviously...

Wear on sides of clip, very tricky to shoot at with current light conditions:

This was a tricky one too, CF scales has an area as if it was exposed to some source of heat, I don't know:

Both are not easy to see, anyway I think this knife is not what Igor was telling in his post.

Spyderco's clips aren't always perfect out of the box. I've replaced a couple that weren't.
I've even ordered replacement clips from Spyderco and had them show up looking worse than what I wanted to replace.

I don't care about clips, but you'll never find a blade used and re-sharpened out of the box:

BOTTON: Igor's S90V "NIB"

Anyone who had a bad experience with Igor should take a look at the other thread (beware of... "me") as well. It seems Igor had sold a used knife as NIB more than once, and twice...

Igor was also online today. As usual, not a single word... I don't know what he was doing but now he's banned from JD should have more time for BF.

Bad boy what you're gonna do when they come for you? Ok, I see: not saying a word and waiting everything is forgotten... :barf:

My first deal on BF was with IGOR. I bought a NIB Manix 2 S90V CF from him when I was on my big Manix Sprint craze.
Shortly After he wrote me asking if I was interested in a S90V Millie. I would have bought it too, but in my opinion, he wanted a little too much for it. I am glad now that I didn't. The S90V Manix 2 that I got from him was fine. No noticeable wear or tear.
I hate to see this happen to you. Especially considering the premium that you paid for this beauty. It is still one hell of a knife, but obviously not what you were expecting.
There is no doubt that the knife is not in NIB condition, not even LNIB. I wish I had some helpful advice, but unfortunately I do not. Good luck with everything though!
ps: do you happen to know the reason of IGOR getting kicked from JD?

Thanks.
That's what you call front door service.

Back to the topic though, JD banned him after viewing this thread and a quick investigation, and it wasn't even on their front porch. Why do so many things around here go unpunished? You're likely to get an infraction for nearly nothing, but the serious stuff gets ignored? I am referring to much more than this particular situation.

Just an observation: does it seem like there are an unusually high number of deals gone raw right now or is it just me?

I don't think you are being fair to the moderators here. I know of no instances where someone has been infracted for "nearly nothing". Every infraction, warning and banning has been earned by not following posted rules.
The serious stuff is hardly ignored, the moderation staff does what it can to take care of each and every problem to its best outcome. Sometimes that includes waiting to see if things will work out before action is taken.
I am sure that the supers are aware of the problem and will take action when they feel it is prudent.
The mod staff cannot be everywhere or find every infraction or bad deal on their own, they depend on the membership policing itself and reporting issues that need attention. Alot of time things don't get taken care of because people fail to report the issue or fail to follow thru once action is intiated.

Sorry, I meant nothing bad towards the mods.
This is a great community, mods, members, and all. Just wondering why more affirmative action isn't taken sometimes. I understand that the mods do have their hands full.

Sadly, after that 13 pages thread I know nothing from Igor or actions taking against him (Igor Synayuk aka Saf-t-cab aka benyaM95 Ranger Knif)... :thumbdn:
