So please answer this very simple question, should the buyer be out $90+ on shipping and return shipping after, what seems to me, being mislead. Benya has not 1 time defended the fact that he mislead the buyer. If he hasnt mislead him, then why cant he be a grown man and speak up? Silence gets NO ONE anywhere.

Clearly you haven't read the whole thread; Igor stated that he won't take the military the nirvanero has because it might not be the one that Igor sent him when it is clearly the knife Igor sent. Igor claims the knife was NIB when he sent it and the knife nirvanero posted isn't Igor's because his was "NIB".

I absolutely agree that there needs to be some form of moderator involvement here.

+1, yeah the pics. We saw Igors(that he claimed were gone), we saw nirvaneros. Before we saw the pics, Igor made remarks stating he does not trust the buyer and how does he know that its the same military he sent if the buyer did in fact take pics of it? Well, unless your stevie wonder, you can tell thats the same knife. To me, that cancels out Igors comment and now he has no logic backing up that remark, therefore he should confront it.

What a Truly sad event it is that a grown man in the day in age, can't even confirm if Nirvanero photo is his "so called NIB knife".The soon that he fesses up the soon this will be resolved.Otherwise,I strongly feel he should be banned.

The funny thing is the way, benya is acting, it's kind of like in South Park, whenever Cartman doesn't have his way and he says,"Screw your IIIIIIII'MMMMMMM Going Home!"

1) The knife is the same he sent to me. Not suppositions, just evidence. He lied saying he couldn't find the photos even if they are on a server, even in other forum. Thanks razorburn finding them. Not a word from him.

2) Igor wants me to send him a NIB knife even if he never did the same, then refunding only the value of the knife even if he lied in knife description. Do you really believe you will send your knife to someone you know is fooling everyone and don't want to talk to you? That would mean not only losing $95, but all my money.

3) I told him to refund $120 as he made shipping $10 more expensive and the knife was used, not as described. He didn't want to talk from the very first moment, didn't ask about anything, just rushed here and tried to take advantage of people he knows from the forum before I could post any photo. He opened this thread and didn't give a solid answer about any question. I mailed him and gave no answer.

4) You can find it on both threads: IGOR HAS LIED MORE THAN ONCE, SENDING USED KNIVES AS NIB. Some people simply don't pay attention at this because they made good deals with him.

I don't know if this is like South Park, but I give evidence and answers while he enjoys the silence and hope everything is forgotten... I've bought from four people of this forum and only had problems with him, while he lied to BF members... At least we have shown that this thread should be named:

"BEWARE OF POSTING A THREAD AGAINST SOMEONE YOU LIED"

He has said he will refund the money more than once...what could he possibly post that will help at this point.

bigmark he has said he will refund for a brand new knife which is not what he sent. Pictures have been provided and this thread has gone on and on with no input from Benya for days even though he was on line last night.

If I was being wrongly thrashed in a thread there would be no shutting me up. I don't know either one of these guys and don't usually even participate in threads like this but someone has been wronged here and it doesn't look like it was Benya.

Read the comments below and see if you can decide who is not working with who. Remember, a deal isn't done until both people are happy. Does nirvanero seem to be pleased with this transaction to you?

I just wrote to him demanding my knife back in the condition it was sent to him. Then he'll get his money back(-shipping costs)

Like I said - I get my knife back in the condition I sent - he gets $300.

sent him an NIB Military S90V(never used, never carried) - period. Pics - I guess it's completely impossible for him to take pics of a different knife. Right?
In any event - if he is not happy - send me MY knife back.
MY knife - not a DIFFERENT knife - and he gets his money back.

I do not have pics left, nor do I have my old notebook.
It was acting up for a few days and now it's toast.

Pics were found.

Knife was not new.

Buyer is unhappy and wants to be compensated or a refund.

Seller.......silence.

The only thing that has been said in the last page or so that bears repeating is that a mod needs to get involved.

We were all new members here at one time or another and I am just grateful that I was not treated with as much disrespect as nirvanero has been by some people on these boards or I would have a much lower post count.

So, with that said, I will leave this thread to the powers that be to do what they feel needs to be done.

I think everybody should know another important fact:The same exact day Nirvanero had photographic proof proving it was the same knife and is overwelmed by the proof leaves negative itrader feedback for Igor.Igor in response does the same thing leaving a negative itrader rating titled "Liar and a cheat".Talk about adding insult to injury.

No doubt in my mind this guy needs to be banned right now.Not buts about it.

It's nice to see how many people I never talked to is defending my situation.

Igor lied to other members (just read the thread), lied about shipping costs, lied about knife condition, lied about not having the photos, don't wanna talk to me nor anyone on the thread HE OPENED... I guess those four or five people still having doubts will never see evidence but suppositions. For example, the same person who mailed me to say Igor was trouble years ago, then mailed me to say he "checked his sales to benya and were OK"... the next thing was starting posting here saying he sees no evidence and Spyderco are not always perfect... re-sharpened by hand too??? You only have to read the thread if you wanna evidence. If you wanna create confusion I don't want neither be "engaged in a back and forth" about Spyderco QC or which country smells the best, because that has nothing to do with this.

Igor used different nickmanes but you can track his footsteps. I'm posting just to warn people as after not being the first one he lied to I'm not expecting him to make a discount for a used knife or refund those $395.

The good folks on JD don't fool around when it comes to thieves. It took the moderator there just a look at this thread and a quick investigation to conclude that Benya had to be banned. Here we are on page 12 of a week-long thread, with several other members pointing out how Benya sold them items that were not as described and still the saga goes on...

By resolution, do you mean that nirvanero and Benya resolve this matter or do you mean that BFC takes a firm, clear position on whether Benya should be banned or allowed to stay? They are separate issues.

I don't think I can resolve this matter with someone who hides and has a bad reputation sending things not as described, even if 55 people had a good deal with him.

Banning would prevent Benya from communicating in this thread. Perhaps some hope remains that he will reflect, return, and make this transaction right.
