Bottle of single barrel & a cuban?
3rd quarter sounds doable.
That sounds quite reasonable. I think 6 months from now would keep it fresh in people's minds.
Now, can you give us a hint or two at a premium steel you guys have available that would be cost effective? I'm thinking it is coming down to ELMAX and S30v from what I'm reading.
The original blue you posted still looks the best.
I love the blue color, very nice. While I have not spoken with Thomas about this yet, my feeling is that S30V would be the best choice for me. While it is possible that all 600 pieces could sell to BF members, I would also want the ability to sell to a secondary market as well and I think that S30V is a more recognized knife steel than say, Elmax, Vanix, etc. I will speak with Thomas about this and get some pricing ideas so a decision can be made and we can get added to their schedule.

I think one thing you may want to consider is that some of the more exotic steels out there may have their profile raised by 3rd quarter this year. I think ELMAX is going to be much better known by the end of the year as the 560 continues to roll out to so much hype. M390 and ZDP-189 will also be better known as well because of new Benchmade and Spyderco models respectively.
Just food for thought.
