Really? Really? For being the one who was originally "wronged" here you doin' just about everything you can to come off looking really bad. Welcome to GronK's "never deal with" list.
 
Yeah, she came across and got hers back, now he's going to get his back sometime, whenever he can "get to it". Don't put yourself out any thebrain, just take your sweet time, nobody would want to see you inconvenienced.
 
Within the week ??? You have known for awhile that your knife was coming back to you. You should have had her knife ready to ship and at least done it the next day. I would have sent it out Priority Mail so it would get to her faster, and then this deal would be over and closed...
Thats just me though.
 
I am kind of new here as well, so my opinion may not make much of an impression, but I think a big part of this deal is a persons personal perception of an object. I buy and sell a lot of knives at online auctions. I have bought knives that were described as "used" that looked to me like they were very much UN-used. I have also bought knives that were supposed to be Like New, but were most surely Very used. I have also sold knives that were used and described as such and had people say that the knife was much better than they thought it would be. It runs the gamut. In a trade, each person is looking to come out on top, or why trade at all. Not everyone will always be satisfied.

As has been said, pictures rule, and a calm head and being reasonable are a strong second. If things don't work out the way you want, well, then just buck up and accept it. Or don't trade any more. Life happens and it is way too short to make such a fuss about such a small thing.

You sir, are the very first person on my ignore list..Suffice to say, we will never have a deal. It's pretty easy to understand the n00b, bladechick777 actions as ignorance..But yours are beyond unbelievable.

If you want a pristine knife, buy it, don't trade for it. I think most people here understand that.

I stopped reading this thread when I saw you complaining about some minor wear (that could very well have been factory handling, you have no proof) on the knife's pocket clip.
 
I got a bad feeling from thebrain after he kept beating a dead horse, even after bladegirl777 admitted her mistake and vowed to make good... but with the post: I will send bladegirl777 her knife within the week when I can get to it, thebrain makes me realize he's the back end of that horse...
 
I would trade with bladechick, on the other hand... Ship her knife today, not when you get to it. I would never do business with you after that statement and my opinion is that you shouldn't be allowed to do business here at all. Beyond unprofessional.

It is my (very strong) suggestion that you "get to it" today, and send the knife back to her pronto. This does not make me happy.

WOW Guys you don`t have to work ???I have to work every day this week I and have no chance to get to a post office during the hours they are open this week I will be working from 7:00 am until 5:30pm monday-sat. ,I had time to send items back and forth all I wanted when I asked her to trade back . I said she would send it "within the week" meaning "as soon as I can" not "when I feel like it" some of you are really something .Because you all seem to need to know I have had the knife packaged and ready and the friend I had asked to send it out TODAY had to spend the whole day passing a kidney stone under strong painkillers and I worked , was today (the next day after receiving my knife back) not soon enough for me to plan to send the item???
I cannot understand what the hell is going on around here I have 42 positive feedback (many of them from trades)and when I have a problem with a trade I do what I understand is the thing you are supposed to do and this is how people react .
I have not been around that long but I have made friends here and when I deal with people I think "this is great the people are so nice" am I wrong ? Should I stop telling people to join this forum ? Where are the people who make this place great what do they think?
Glockman99 why tell me to send the knife back in your time frame but not tell her to return my knife in the first place? Please explain??
 
im sensing a mental breakdown soon.

you could have probably worded "when i can get to it" a little better to reflect that you have work all week during post office business times. anyways, hope your friend feels better.
