Sho is. I’m in my shop working on my bike. No fine china or glassware here. The steak came out of a 5gal bucket (sous vide) and got blasted with a torch.Nice dinner, but are you drinking cognac out of a freaking cut off water bottle?!![]()

Thanks brother! +1 for the improvised cookin techniques..especially the classic foil wrap in the engine compartment. I like to think my compartment quesadillas are top notch lol.Hot damn! My kind of meal.
I’ve been known to work on a bike or two, cook stuff with whatever I have available (electric grill, hotplate, foil lined halved cardboard barrel solar hotdog cooker, wrap eats in foil and shove it in the engine compartment, etc), and have drunk out of much worse.
What I said wasn’t meant as an insult at all, but get yourself a shop glass for that fine liquor.![]()

No insult taken at allI see it as more a compliment for that tasty ‘gac. You’re absolutely right, it does deserve better! I’ll have to sneak a snifter or two outa the house. I think the wife keeps a running inventory lol
I like the way you think! That’s almost sure to work, as I’ve already pilfered a few of her casserole dishes to soak metal partsYou can always throw some random metal in there with some water when not in use. “Oh that? I had to soak some parts”.![]()
