10oz filet, marinated in allegro, broiled. Don't care for grilling in the dark. Kershaw Launch 8 and WE Deacon.

How does your Condor hudson bay work as a user?

It is the original model (came coated). It was ground very thick on the primary grind. It works better as a chopper than a skinner. I've thinned it out a bit, but it could use more thinning!!

Handle is just a bit off for my hand size. Fine for cutting, a bit small for chopping without more rear swell on the handle.


I did use it for a good bit on the cow, just to try it out. Not nearly as handy as the Old Hickory knives. They are so much lighter and thinner. The Condor was heavy.

If you had only one knife for general camp chores on a budget, it sould do fine.


I have enough big choppers, and other knives so it does not get busted out much.
