I did try my local Norman's pick of JD Single Barrel today... Never had one of those, in fact, I'm not a huge fan of Tennessee whiskey
and I'd never buy JD for myself. This was a gift for a good friend, that I know he loves JD.
I was actually impressed with the fact that I was not able to feel at all the alcohol...
It was smooth and tasty and I enjoyed every drop of it, till we finished the bottle, all three of us :cool: :thumbsup:

I'm not a fan of regular Jack and I don't know how much of that is just my preference for sipping neat. I'd agree that some of their specialty releases are significantly better and like you, I only tend to encounter them when someone else presents them.

BTW, that food looks good!
 
Thank you ! He's a good friend of ours, it's the birthday party of his 15yo daughter, great girl !
He's wife is another Bulgarian we know but the guy is from Tennessee and he hunts and know very well his way with the meet.
Yes, I'm on the same page about the JD but I was pleasantly surprised and will jump to the same store tomorrow :cool::thumbsup:
They are having 20% off for some reason, prices are very good and I'll grab another bottle for sure !

I like Gentleman Jack. Who am I kidding? I like most Jack Daniels products, except the flavored batches
