I'm heartened to see so many come together to try to make this better-than-right (as far as is possible), and join with everyone else in hoping the matter comes to clear and decisive resolution.

It'd be even funnier if it wasn't so true! I did shout out, "YEAH!!!!!!", Jason pointed right at me and said jokingly, "You suck!"...to which I shouted, "Well, you ROCK!!!". Maybe next year I'll just raise my hand? :o :D:D Lmao ;)

No luck as of yet, Tequila Joe. Sent emails to many purveyors, but found a few more to reach out to...
Either the poacher or the Zulu will pop up eventually and be recognized... And hopefully right soon.

I don't think that it would be smart to list the ones I've notified already just in case this poacher has eyes & ears here on BF. No sense telling him where not to try selling it... ;)
 
Jaxx - I hope this gets resolved for you very soon. For me, just to get to BLADE is a dream - but to have something like this happen, I'd be devastated if it happened to me. However, things like this, unfortunate as they are, really illustrate how supportive our community is. Knowing someone like Mr. Bose is going above & beyond to help you with this is amazing.

I will ask some people I know if they've seen in. This type of piece is EXACTLY their cup of tea if the jerk off brought it to Texas and offered it for sale chances are these two know about it.

Lastly anyone who is willing to do this slime of a action HAS to be a collector, or a dealer.
Collector who wants that fine piece, or a peddler with ins with the higher end collectors who thinks he can flip it for a profit. Either way, should be easy to find this gem of a knife.
 
Alex my friend it was a great pleasure to see at Blade. I was standing right there when Jason called your name and the look of sheer delight and joy on your face could have been spotted from the moon.

To then discover that some scumbag had done this to you and the sheer disappointment of loosing such a special piece I could see was really hard on you and put a real dampener on your Blade Show.

Know this my friend that those of us who are Traditional collectors will NEVER stop looking for this knife.
Years from now it will still be spoken about and I assure you that sooner or later the whole story will be revealed. Fortunately you have the whole BF connection on your side and we will NEVER stop looking.

The scum who defrauded you chose a bad knife to take because it is a real one off. Had it been a regular BP pattern it may have been impossible to find but this one will eventually come to light.

It did not surprise me in the least that Tony and Reese moved immediately to set this right and I am sure that when you receive your knife you will be blown away by it. Bose knives are beyond awesome and you are going to have one of the most unique ones on the planet. (Alex has received his magnificent knife from Tony Bose and it can be seen >>here<<)

To the the person who defrauded Alex: Do the right thing now and contact Tony or Reese Bose and arrange a refund and return the knife. You will be discovered by us and your name and reputation will be destroyed. We will find out who you are.

Hopefully this knife, and the poacher thereof, will eventually come to light. If so, please do provide an update. :thumbup:
