Awesome combo Stephen & I must admit,I am taken back & impressed with where your knife accumulating hobby has gone to :thumbup::thumbup:

Here are my two from Reese. I've had the WT for a while. It's been in my coin pocket since I got it. The Backpocket is a recent addition from one of the good guys here. Haven't been able to let myself carry it yet. Maybe I need a knife purse or something...

The other day a knifemaker asked me what blade thickness I'd like on a certain knife.

It dawned on me,a great universal answer to any & all questions that a maker could throw at you.Just tell 'em,do it like Tony would ;)

Put a fluted bolster on this & CPM 154 SS blades & foughettabouditt!!!

Thanks Vince! You've contributed to the addiction so you have to share some of the blame!:D

The WT cuts like a demon. D2 is probably my favorite steel and the belt finish lets me use it like it was meant to be without worrying about blemishing it.

I love the shadows and would love to find another WT in jigged bone with fluted bolsters and a federal shield!

Stephen

Great pair of knives Stephen! I'm sure it's gratifying to the maker that you actually use the trapper.

At last, at last! A 4" Zulu in Ivory! It seems so fitting, an African name, and handle material. I love my Rem-bone WT, and have carried it since I got it, but this is the first knife that has tempted me to change my ways! This knife is slim but sturdy, and drop-dead gorgeous! The Ivory has such character, the blade is ready for anything, the rat-tail bolsters are the technicolor in a knife guy's dreams! Talk about knife heaven. . .Thank You, Mr. B!!!

Thanks Kerry! You have the best mentor possible, young feller!
(BTW, the spots are on the scanner glass)

Welllll now . You'll be parting with that old, used, third hand WT now, wontcha Charlie ?

After all, you're not driving a '62 Rambler are 'ya ? :D

Congratulations !!

Fran

This is the prototype of the single blade dogleg jack and the only one I have ever seen. CPM 440V ground finish with Remington bone scales, 3.75" closed.

Congratulations Charlie, it's mighty handsome and as you know in spades you can't beat a Bose knife...

Man that's a mighty fine knife there John and a prototype to WOW... John you call them Remington Bone Scales, is that just what you call them or were they put on Antique Remington knives? I have several old Remington knives of different patterns and I don't have any with scales that look like the ones you call Remington Bone. Could you tell me which patterns the Scales you call Remington Bone were on? I'd like to have a pattern like that if I could find one worth the money. I see scales on ebay that look like them but they have holes in them for something? Well maybe you can help me under stand a little better...

Thanks,

Congrats Charlie. A special knife for sure, but I thought you only collected Bose prototypes? The ivory is killer on that knife.

John, I love seeing that Rem bone on an old pattern like that jack knife. I really like the swedge, long pull and grinds as well. Thanks for posting it.
