That's some way cool pair. Lever action 12ga. Oh my.

John M Browning, ya gotta love his style:thumbup:( his design). Maybe someday Tony could do a browning themed knife. Great gun and Knife.

All these straight knives being posted today I figured, lets look here too
Would you look at that I love that.

Edited in...In case you do not recognize..You see the finger groove ,right ? You see the handle, right? Well,Ol ' Dawg has that set up,so you can do a few types of controls, when cutting. More relaxed slicing & filleting - hand on the handle (contoured & the correct size) for choking up,more control, your index finger jumps into the groove before the blade, you'd hold it this way when using the tip section of the blade.I've cut some meat in my day,but never had a knife like that

OAL is 11 1/4", blade is 6 3/8", swedge is 5 1/4"

That's a perfect knife to take deep-sea fishing. I don't know how that beautiful ebony will hold day after day in the ocean, probably very well, but the blade is screaming for a fish to fillet.

mendezj & all, yeah fillet-ing,but how 'bout "steaking" a big fish with "shoulders",like say a nice 100lb class yellowfin.

That one would be great in the kitchen,as well.
