Bose Knives

How does Tony work with Charlie glaring at him? I printed that picture out to scare my children with whenever they misbehave.

Here's a new one Tony just finished up. He says that the stag on this one is a little thicker than he normally likes to leave them.

Boy, that's a near dead ringer for the stag WT by Mike Zscherny I picked up from Lee at the show. (Naturally, the master's is the standard bearer, but Mike's is sure an excellent tribute.)

Kerry, what size is that one? Mine's a 4" version which I had never seen before.

It maybe a bit thicker than Tony normally makes them, but I bet it sure is comfortable in the hand! Nice color on the stag also.

Tony got this John Young hunter as a gift from a couple of good buddies and hauled it back from Blade. I think it must be right around 8" OAL...not sure of the steel..but it sure is purty to look at. I felt kinda naughty shootin somebody elses knife :p

Wow! Interesting how the spline is thick on the blade and tapers down towards the rear or is that some photographic optical illusion?

That stag WT is Beautiful! Nice stag on that one.

Oh my. You can kill me now. That's the perfect stag for me, EXACTLY like I'd like it. Color, on the thick side, etc. Plain awesome.

This last week-end I killed three deer. For the area, all quite large; two with six points and one with eight. I skinned all three with a drop-point sheath knife made by Reese. The steel is D-2 and I bought the knife from Vince. The knife took care of all three deer and I didn't have to sharpen it once. When I got home I passed it a couple of times on ceramic sticks, the strop, and it was shaving sharp again.

There are many drop-point D-2 knives and knives of all kinds, but I have never used a better sheath knife than my little Bose.

That fat Wharncliffe trapper does look interesting. I'd like to hold it to see how it feels compared to my regular-sized one.

The stag is just beautiful.

Hey, maybe Wilfred Works can start a "Big and Tall" line of knives.....:D

Hey John, looks like I'll be out your way in July/August. Will you be around for a little chat?

Remember the Case/Bose 2007 collaboration? Tony made two prototypes for Case, as he always does, a pull apart and a completed knife, which were both stamped "Prototype XX". This is the next knife in series, stamped "0". It's covered with Case Antique Peach Seed Jigged Bone, steel is ATS-34, and it has the Challenge shield on both sides.
