Bose Knives

The ivory on that one is sweet! Not very many Bose trappers with caps out there. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your first Bose.

Wow Roland - what a perfect knife to start a collection of Bose knives :)
Congratulations!

Peter

Congrats on your first T Bose folder. Some killer ivory on that one.

That is awesome Roland!

Killer ivory and a great pattern for EDC. Congrats Roland.

Scooooore!!!

Boy, Roland, when you want to get wet, you just jump in head first! I wonder how many's 1st Bose is an end-capped ivory model.

Too sweet, and MANY congrats!

Yep

Roland, I hope you don't carry that bad boy in a sheath. Then you can't fiddle with it in your pocket :) Seriously, congratulations. You are gonna love it.

Campbell, maybe i'm just fussy, but i don't like grit in the works, so i nearly always use a pouch for pocket carry.
The ivory is more grained than my pics show. i think it might be from the same piece of tusk as the Eureka Jack shown a 'couple' of pages back.
it is a very nice knife and i think the scales are really exceptional.
My thanks to Tony and Bill.

Looks like a nicely detailed knife, Roland!
I hope you got a waiver from Tony re: that pocket purs. . .uhh. . .pouch!?:D

Roland, I understand the grit problem, but you really do need Tony to give you a waiver to carry it in a "pouch". It's a serious infraction in these here parts and Blues might pull your Man Card if you don't get Tony's ok. Alternatively, you can follow Charlie's directive and OIL THE JOINTS :) :) :)

O.K. Campbell, i'll submit a request for a waiver on compassionate grounds. (old guys don't change their ways; compassion for age).
Oil attracts GRIT ! "Watch out, them bits of grit are heading for the oil".

Now Now Now...truth be told, when I carry my TB Ivory Swayback, I keep it in a pretty little leather pouch...so call me a hypocrite (cuz I am one)

Roland and Juan.

Fantastic knives. Congratulations to both of you.

I can see it now,Campbell, wandering in a happy daze, hand in pocket, smiling, content,in a stand of cedars....

He takes it out of the pouch, buries it into the soft juicy cedar  ,removes it & replaces it into the pouch & back on his way...

Very Happy....

LOL,just messin' Cambpell,You all have a nice day today, the best season is upon us,my knives can smell the blood & I will share the moment...

Getting your man card pulled is bad enough, but having an attorney like Campbell on your case will keep you up nights!;)

Congrats on a great knife, Roland! (However you choose to carry it. Though if it were me I'd get that waiver...I'm just sayin'...)

Roland,

Congrats on your Beautiful Ivory Trapper! Wow, Will you ever be spoiled now! :D

I would like to see a picture of that knife in a year or two, after you have "Fondled" it, and gotten some of the oil from your hand on it, and It will have a very sweet patina on it!

To have a knife like that from either Tony or Reese is...Priceless! On one of my ivories, I too carry it in a calf-leather pouch, (This pouch was made by Chris Reeves). I still take that one out and "hand-rub" it whenever I carry it, and it is getting a nice darker creamy color to it. :p:D:p

As Tony says, "Does it cut"? (I bet that it is sharp as heck!)

Don't need no waiver till I luck into a "mop slabbed" one. Already got enough people who look at me kinda funny like. Don't want to make things worse with a purse. :D

Looks like I have a lot of waivers to mail out.

Not to me you don't. Between yesterday and today, I skinned nine white tails. That D-2 drop point baby is beginning to show the wear and tear on the orange cord that it came with; the rest of the knife is just fine. The Backpocket earned its keep too. That PT has a full time job already, and it hasn't even arrived yet.
