Bose Knives

Wow, that is gorgeous. I believe that to be the best looking Bose I've seen yet, which speaks volumes.

Just when you think Tony can't raise the bar any higher he does!!

That may be the best Bose ever. Love the blue damascus shield. Wow!!!

Are you kidding me! That's unbelieveable!
I don't care for Damascus, But Tony made
it work very well with that Ivory! WOW!!
The "Old Dog" can do it all!!

Here is something you don't see much of from Wilfred Works...damascus. This 4 5/8" saddlehorn from Tony has Master Smith Robert Eggerling mosaic damascus and blued damascus bolsters and shield from a piece made by Keith Kilby. The blade was etched and the remainder of the damascus hardware and steel pins are cold blued. All of that is nestled in a bed of lucious, creamy ivory....mmmmmmmm :D

WOW! Just WOW!

I think it would look better with a more 'traditional' damascus pattern, BUT I still love it! :)

Yeah but, finding some hand made, traditional damascus ... like...wow!...that would be really diffficult, wouldn't it? :p

Some Hanson damascus would be sweet.

'scuse me sounding dumb here.... but are the pins cold blued after fitting - in which case how do you not get the cold blue liquid on the ivory? Or are the pins blued before fitting - in which case how is the blueing not ground off when fitting?
Just curious to know....perhaps Tony or Kerry can help out?

Colin.

The pins were blued after final finishing....very carefully. Also, Tony said that he etched the bolsters, not blued.

Anyone have an idea where the damascus beauty is going? Anyone gonna 'fess up?

Is it bad when you dream you got a bose folder and then wake up disappointed? :p that damascus piece is absolutely amazing! I love the look of that ivory with variation of color. Once i'm back stateside I need to get one, I passed up a case/bose swing guard from charlie mike and wish i didnt now!

That would be something to see!

That would require double bullock shields!

Awesome saddlehorn, Tony! The ivory I'm seeing on these most recent beauties just seems to be getting better and better. The damascus and hardware really expound it on this one.

Stunning knife Tony! Nice to see you straying off into the Artsy stuff - - - - - - -as long as you don't go completely over to the Dark side:p:D!

Die-hard Charlie:rolleyes:

The saddlehorn is not one of my favorite patterns, but I'd sure make an exception for this one.

The materials and flawless execution are way over the top!:thumbup:
