buck in movies

Saw the movie Red Dawn for the first time the other night. When they are getting supplies at the one father's convenience store/outfitters, a Buck knife box is prominently taken off the shelf. Also, you see a Buck sheath throughout the movie on a couple of the kid's hips. Anyone know which model that was?

We recently watched an episode of Psych, in which a real fixed-blade knife was substituted for a trick prop knife, so that a homicide occurred on the set of a Spanish soap opera. The knives looked like Buck fixed blades, smaller than a 119 so that the blade could collapse into the handle. IMDB Link to the episode.

Saw two 119's in Dexter season one episode 3. Phenolic and Cocobolo in the same show.

wow what a cool thread
now i gots to watch dem movies again to make sure i seen them also!!

I was watchin the quick and the dead the other night, and there isnt a real good shot, but it looked like Hackman could have been peeling his apple with a 102.

Well, it wasn't in a movie but it was on "Bones" on TV. Jack or someone was trying to figure out the murder weapon by stabbing a pig carcass and there was a 119 on the table with all the other sharp things they were testing.

A few episodes of Pawn Stars had the arms and armor guy (forget his name) using a 110.
Chucky in Child's Play uses a 119.
The 119 makes an appearance on the cover for Friday the 13th Part 4 (it's the knife in Jason's eye).
Again, the 119 is on the cover of Friday the 13th Part 8.
One of the characters (Merle?) had a 110 in the first season of The Walking Dead.
A few years ago, WWF (yes, before it was WWE) wrestling showed Steve Austin using a 102 backstage to peel an apple. I also recall a Buck sheath being shown on his hunting clothes.
A guy named Terry used a automatic 110 in an episode of Tales From the Crypt.
Sideshow Bob (The Simpsons) threatened Bart with a 110 in one of the 12,000,000 episodes where he was going to kill him.

I was watchin The War Wagon tonite and Billy(the drunkard explosives kid) was using a 317 Pathfinder pattern under the bridge setting the nitro.

put a pictures, pliss

Heres a picture of the 317 Pathfinder pattern. Dont have a pic of the movie.

Welcome to the forum.

I think there's a Buck 110-like knife in the movie A Cry in the Wild, the film adaptation of the novel Hatchet. At least, I think there is one in the book/movie when he gets the plane's supply kit.

Apocalypse Now....

Capt Willard is wearing a big Buck (119?) when he first meets LTC Kilgore. The knife seems to disappear till the end of the movie, when Willard has it in hand briefly before he leaves the boat ("never get off the boat!") and kills Kurtz ("terminates his command.")

I saw the lenght of my 120 in hand and I'm pretty sure, whatching the movie, that Willard has a 120..

Not a movie, but I had a few of these cool Nocona Boots posters as a kid. I'm betting that's a 124 that's about to decapitate that rattler!
