Buck's Kustom Knife Shop IS still OPEN!

I could buy two M9 Bayonets for what Buck now wants just for a Damascus 110 blade...

...hmmm...I have heard of a large ring of blade n' scale hijackers operatin' out around Post Falls wearin' "kilts"...:p

It's a nice one....but what about 1962 being a good year for knife safety...when the Folding Hunter was introduced:confused:..now do I need 1962 + 1963 110s for a complete collection:eek:..or were those years just prototypes:confused:

Well, Joe did tell us that turn around time in the custom shop would be greatly reduced; guess we now know why that will be. :(

You're right Tin Sue...they're gonna be like the Maytag Repairman up there in the Post Falls Custom Shop.

Doc D...$1243.00. WOW.

I think they're smokin' crack.

...All I know is that for the prices I saw in the "new website's" build area...those knives should come wrapped in a tall redhead who likes Mustangs, trucks and fishin'...( and long walks on the beach...:p )...Those prices are so outrageous that ya have to either cry or laugh hysterically...I choose to laugh about it...:(:D:(

I am still shaking my head over those price increases. I was planning to buy one custom per month this summer. Now the customs are right off my radar.

...Just another kick in the teeth for the "little guy"...As far as I'm concerned they've taken me right out of the equation...:grumpy:

Yep...even with a red-head (that'll just give ya years of nagging), the prices are off the hook.
The same knife I got less than a year ago is over twice the price...$394 for a Damascus Koa?????
They must be thinking in pesos.

I'm with ya A.P.F, I too was thinking of ordering one or two...not now. That's a lot of Mickey D'. $1 double cheeseburgers.

Jeeez,,,,I am afraid to go look. Burying my head in the sand again....

should I quit EDCing my latest bg42 110 from the custom shop before I actually use it?

well .. to be the devil's advacate...
if you were a retailer and wanted to sell a LE or custom buck knife
would you like it if some one could go to the web site an order the same knife you were thinking of haveing made so you could sell and make money on it and they pay less then you can buy it for?
realy the only way they could reasonablely sell us a knife for less then on the site is to sell it at whole sale through the BCCI... a speachel link with our club password! ... then the retailers whom buck realy needs for busness will not worry that buck will under cut them...
jest a thought...
do i need to... duck ?

...
do i need to... duck ?

Duck, Duck, Goose thinks that while I understand what you are saying, I don't think over a 100% increase makes sense for the consumer or the business.
How can they justify close to $400 for the same knife I paid $174 just a few months ago?
Even at the price I paid then, there definitely was some margin of profit. And, of course, that is ok. But enough is enough.

Like Trax said, they might as well turn off the lights.
