It's quite possible that the Custom Shop was taking valuable resources away from the mainstream product line...Mainly people, time, materials, and machinery...
Jacking up the prices (and the resultant dropoff of Custom Shop orders) will be an excellent reason for closing the Custom Shop down and redistributing the resources to where they should be...On the production line... :thumbup:

i have tryed 6 times in the last 30 min an .. nothing but a blank page...

Dave, regrettably, it's working just fine for me. Perhaps it was being overloaded with a plethora of orders at the time you were trying.

...Larry, If they increase those prices proportionally to the Custom Shoppe prices....I'll never see another BCCI or Fundraiser knife...

OK ,7 pages and no response from Joe or CJ,The chances of them not seeing this thread is slim,I guess we won't be hearing anything from them in the near future as to why they jacked up the prices.
I am pretty sure I had some valuable 110 customs before they got stolen,now the ones i've got of the bay are replacements,but not mint in box like mine were.
Now i guess i'll search the bay .LOL......SAD,SAD DAY!

To me bean-counters are the corporate accountants and executive types who decide "hey we could make 5% more profit if we close down our North American factories and set up shop in Asia".
Bean counters see highest profit as the bottom line. Bean-counters say to h*ck with the employees or the economic health of your home country that helped you build your company in the first place.
But hey maybe thats just me.

From an accountant's view this may make perfect sense but there is big fan base here that acts as quasi P.R. people for Buck. Sometimes actions as these can leave a bad taste in peoples mouth and ruin a sense of family.
