I guess your bandsaw didn't bight you huh. About a month ago my 3/4" carbide blade started shimmying front to back. I had to sway back and forth with the rhythm.

OBVIOUSLY something wrong. Though I had not knowingly run through knots or twisted it, this wasn't right. Tension problem? Bad run off? Chipped carbide? I had completely detensioned the wheels and started slowly rotating the blade looking for an obvious culprit. Took a few minutes but then

there it was - my blade was cracked nearly all the way through. Holding on my a few silly mm. Whoo wee - real glad I didn't keep pushing on it like a mindless idiot. Could have hoit!
