Hope your snake turns up soon, Meako! I realize it is not a conventional pet, but I know the terrible feeling when you have lost one that you are attached to.

I had a friend who kept a small constrictor of some sort (python or boa) in his apartment that somehow went missing. It turned up, alive and healthy, in one of his kitchen cabinets, a year later. We are not sure what it ate but likely the occasional bug or rodent.

They are the world champions at hide and seek...it helps when you can go a year without food and not lose condition...Old Boris hasnt eaten since Early June...and won't until December...

Found 'im. 2 days later..
Less than 3ft from where I last saw him..?!
I reckon he got into the nearby disused drain pipe that leads under that wall...hes back in his containment facility now.
Cheers.
Good job he's back....sure your neighbours are relieved they can now use the toilet in safety ...:eek:o_O🤣

I hear another snake called Boris escaped all responsibility in Britain and still large as life

In your climate and with his fasting ability that type of snake could go native....

Are you giving him enough love&affection? But from what you've said earlier he's a bit of a surly brute, badly misunderstood boy? Maybe snakes are like cats, promiscuous and if they think there's a better quality of life with the neighbours then off they go (for a while) :)

The nonsense you hear, directed at me on FB

"do you have anything for sell? Honestly you should thank everyone that has ever sold a Gec for more than it cost new. I have several knives if you go buy a new case knife just a run of the mill trapper and then go to sell it you will be lucky to get your money back maybe you only get 80% of what you paid.. no way will you get $100 more than what you paid for it or 3-4x what you paid for it.
Then point #2 I don't work for free I hope you don't hunting knives is a lot of work the person that finds and invest in knives deserves something
Point 3 the simplest point in my humble opinion it's in American to tell someone else what they can do with there property"

my poor attempt at a concerned answer.

"Hunting for knives is hard and essential work thank god you aren't in the military or working down a coal mine.
I take it you have a shop, pay taxes and support veterans and homeless people with charity donations as a way of giving back to society?"

A box of treasure from Yorkshire: Thank you, Jack Black Jack Black !

I've used a paper towel and masking tape in the past. When I checked in to get stitches the person at the front desk asked, what can we do to help the blue tape guy 🤣
“Bandages” makes it sound worse than it was - just a nick - but I wanted to avoid using a brand name. “Adhesive bandages” were all I needed. Plaster? Pansement? Whatever they call them in Australia? You get the idea…

And in my case it was clear tape with the piece of paper towel.
