So now I see in the news that there is a hurricane hitting California??

Look, folks, I'm not sure how I got here, or exactly when, but does anyone know the launch schedule of the next spaceship headed to Earth? This planet of yours has been interesting to visit, but I think I'm ready to go back to where I came from.

I live on the coast about 3 miles from the Mexican border. So far we've had rain showers through the day, about 1/3 of an inch total. Thunderstorms projected for tomorrow. We'll see.

I'd say I was "raising smoke for Nor Cal", but you folks probably have more than enough smoke and would not want more. But I am sending well wishes. Been there. Done that. And it is not fun. I sincerely hope all is well for each of you and your families.

I had let my subscription lapse here - wasn't selling or buying so I didn't really need the extra privileges. Re-upped today, though. It's me, I wasn't hacked. I am sure some of my normal typos or idiosyncrasies will emerge in my postings to ensure that it is the same person typing this as typed everything else before this.

As proof, here is a photo of my actual hand, holding a Case 3299 Jack I won in a giveaway from Blues Blues a few years back, in memory of his beloved Weimaraner, Smoky, who I have never forgotten about because of that knife, which I still have. :)

Charles made an appearance in the small rural village of Driveling In The Bog...The peasants were amazed by his magnificent fox fur headwear...several pelts joined to make a sort of giant Davey Crockett cap..with tails and faces festooning it.
As Charles was inspecting the local fair...one villager spurred by curiosity approached him ...."Your Highness we are all astounded by your hat...it is truly wonderful...but Sire what is its signifigance?"
Charles turned to the simple fellow...
" Oh well when One was leaving the palace this morning..Mummy asked one where I was off to today...I said Driveling In The Bog...to which Mummy replied where the fox hat."

You have to do the voices.😆
