Your snake needs the sunny climes meako.;)
Scotland might make him well ill...as for here:eek::D:D
Mind you, the place does swarm with poisonous adders in summer, amazingly enough. Well, they do get 9 months sleep:thumbsup:

It's been a momentous couple of weeks for us here in Scotland - my in laws have finally made the move to Scotland from across the Irish Sea. Claire and I have brought the kids and the dog to assist with moving into their new home in Aberdeenshire. They still have no internet so my porch visits have been sporadic and my posts even more so (phone signal dependant).

Their new pad is pretty isolated.

Are they near Aberdeen? While in the U.S. Navy, I was stationed at RAF Edzell near Montrose for two years. Very beautiful country.

Hey all I've had a pretty rough time lately and have all of you. I am spending my first day in a nursing home and it sucks. Thanks to everyone for the concern. I have a large splint on my right arm and holding this tab!et while typing very hard so I won't be posting much for a while.

Just get better, Randy! We're all rootin' for you!
And for you too, Bob!

I am right there with them wishing you two a less bumpy road for you two. I know dirt roads, a comfy country life and porch chairs are a welcomed sight, but here's to hoping that your dirt roads are graded.

Randy, I'm relatively new on BF, but it's clear you have many true friends here. Godspeed on your recovery!

Aye, they're just outside Huntley on the A96. Sort of midway betwixt Aberdeen and Inverness. It is beautiful country. They're house was built in the 19th century though!

On the other hand, "nursing home" beats "Forest Lawn".

Good to hear from you. Hang in there.
