I haven't picked up one of these collabs before but am very interested in this one. If anyone has any pre order info the can PM or email me I'd be much obliged!

This one has caught my attention more than those preceding it. I can't wait to see one up close to see if I'll pull the trigger or not.

Any news about the release of this year's knife? I remember that last year I placed my pre-order about this time, but this year haven't found anything yet.

I think they're still working on grinding all those facets in the bolsters. :D Tony does like to give them challenges.

Anyone have any information on the release date for these? I sure want one. - Ed J
 
It could just be the lighting, and maybe someone who was at Blade and got to inspect the prototypes in person could set me straight, but the blades on the Case prototype don't even hold a candle to the blades on the Bose prototype. The swedges look too shallow, the long pull looks too short, the crescent nick looks too wide, and the points of the blade appear too dull.
The past collaborations looked allot better to me when compared to the reference knife. Maybe they are working that out?

I just got a vendor's catalog and the Case/Bose coffin jack is listed. They have it in 5 handle options ranging from $329 to $499 for abalone. I think I'll pass.
