Bermuda/green single clip blade would be sweet. Are these Vault knives going to be as hard to get as some of GEC's?
I would not expect so. Case makes a lot more knives than GEC.Bermuda/green single clip blade would be sweet. Are these Vault knives going to be as hard to get as some of GEC's?
nope- that’s the only great thing about Case- generally if you want a new production knife you can find one.
Thanks good to knowI would not expect so. Case makes a lot more knives than GEC.
Yep, I have two stocking dealers within a short drive of my house that still have barlows from 2019, so obtaining a Copperhead should be doable. I need a clip point to keep my wharncliffe company. Thanks good to know
Probably not. I was able to get 2 nice barlows in 2019, including a CV sawcut brown bone that looks a lot like Appaloosa, no problem. I didn’t try to get a pocket hunter in 2020 but there didn’t seem to be a shortage of them. Are these Vault knives going to be as hard to get as some of GEC's?

I'll add that if there is a particular handle/blade combination you really like, don't wait too long. Case drops don't instantly evaporate like GEC, but I went looking for a CV sawcut Barlow last year and could not find one. I did not have any trouble finding other Barlows, but that one was sold out. That was a year after the release, so not a huge hurry, but if you wait a year you might have to settle for something else.Probably not. Now that I think about it I seem to remember that I ordered that CV sawcut Barlow early, like right before it was released. If it makes you feel any better, it came with a deep scratch across one bone cover and the main clip has some play when open. On the other hand I was watching for the GEC 74 drops and missed them all within minutes of the email notifications. So being able to order a CV copperhead right as it’s released with no scrambled factor is really nice. This is probably gonna be one of those patterns where I get more than one. The yeller delrin is just a solid start. Maybe the CV dark red bone will follow in my pocket in a couple months.Case drops don't instantly evaporate like GEC, but I went looking for a CV sawcut Barlow last year and could not find one. What questions do you have about the knife? Maybe I can help you out?boy howdy that picture emphasizes the swoop-y clip. That’s a handsome knife. I’m really torn.

Nope. Doesn't make me feel better at all. I'm right there with you, Buddy.for whatever reason one of my favorite parts of owning a slipjoint is the walk and talk fidgeting aspect.
No, no, no, yes.a few come to mind:
Just a few things on my mind...
- Any blade playin the joint?
- Notice any blade rap?
- Do you find the secondary “in the way” when you have the primary open? (Would you have preferred a single clip?)
- Does the bolster actually sink the joint completely?
