Yea ideally.... But im going for just a 1 axe solution... I will only be using it for splitting, and mostly just splitting oak a couple times a year.

I failed at scoring the funky Buddha beer i wanted... Morning wood, last snow and butta cup... I tried 3 shops that said they had the ones i wanted online... Actually i went to the first one and they told me good luck... So i called 2 more and they also told me good luck finding it..

But the hipster that worked at the one beer store recommended these so i guess I'll give them a go.

ice last night, snowing today, temps dropping, wind building, and 3-5" called for showing up later this afternoon -- and we're supposed to drive 80 miles for early Christmas with the in-laws.
SWMBO is asking ME if I really want to go - or if I would rather heat up the pot of soup I made to take with us and crack open the squealer of black lager she brought down from Des Moines.

About to head out into the woods for an overnighter, temp is in the low 20s with frost and snow up in the mountains so it should be pretty nippy. Gonna have to muscle through it, I've been away from nature for too long.

30° and snowing here. Kinda bummed it's snowing today. It wasn't supposed to.
 
A couple degrees above freezing and raining, started out in the 60's earlier today. Seems like it is going to get icy.

I'm hunkered in with a bottle of whiskey.

It gets through, but sure doesn't do much. It did warm up to -15 today though. Sun is setting, so it's gonna get coooooolder soon. Supposed to hit -25 tonight. Starting Monday, we are supposed to begin warming up again and should have a week of highs in the 20s.
