Comeuppance's giveaway and Mother's Day thread! (Winner announced!)

Real Sweet GAW! This prize would be favorable for man or woman. Those scales look amazing.

Well not really sure whats going to happen yet. Got mother dearest a Wild jersey and maybe get her a bottle or two of vino. She"ll go fishing so hoping she might want to do that this weekend cause that's what I'll be doing Sat and next week.

Last year got her a BM 556. Figured she don't need another knife. Maybe could have got her custom scales for it but this MD this year snuck up on me.:confused: Just bought the jersey 1/2 hour ago. Has a DMT stone and strop too so she's set for sharpening as well.

Every year, my daughter and I take our favorite picture of her and my wife from the previous year and make a custom picture frame (My wife does the same on fathers day). We have a nice wall o frames and pictures going as a result:-)

My mom is easier to shop for...dinner and drinks usually covers it!

I'm taking the misses to a restoraunt that over looks a sand beach on the shore of Lake Superior. Hopefully she enjoys it. :)

I'll sharpen her kitchen knives on dad's work sharp. The plan is then for her to cook a nice dinner for us with the then sharp knives :)

My plans are to refinish my wife's outdoor furniture. And she's decided to do yoga, so I'll be getting her all the accessories she needs to do it.

This will be my entry. After seeing all the hub bub it is quite refreshing to see this thread pop up and gain some attention as well.
For mother's day this year I'll be giving my mother flowers, as well as making her something tasty for dinner. Thanks for the chance Comeuppance

I'm planning on going to church with mom and then to a nice meal afterwards.

Not sure if I am going to do it again this year, cuz it's kinda a once-in-a-while thing, but one of the best mother's day gifts I've ever given to my mom (based on her reaction) was just some random card I got at the store, but I took the time and wrote a few paragraphs about what she means to me, and how she's always been there for me, and how much I acknowledge and appreciate that.

I dont really have plans for mothers day. Gotta work in the morning, so I'll probably go over to her house afterwards and eat dinner, spend some time with her and the bro.

I sent my mom a card. She lives 1,000 miles away. She and my dad will be visiting us in June and we usually celebrate then. I always take her out to dinner to a local place my friend owns, just the two of us. My wife takes my dad out that day. She'd says she rather have that then flowers or a gift (she has everything she needs according to her).

If my mom were alive she would want me to be the winner of this knife!!!

I plan to stay home and take care of my children's Mom to insure she is happy
 
This is my official entry post. Probably going to have a big bbq for my wife who just became a mother a couple months ago. First Mother's Day for us and I imagine the inlaws will come over to eat also.

My mother is no longer with us so I have to do mother's day for my wife from her cats as kids. She isn't all that interested in going out to eat but she does like chocolate so that is my plan.
