I got my 1840CBZDP today! It is awesome and I love the thinner blade. It seems like it fires out quicker. Great job Kershaw! Now if we could just get a Shallot with that cool Nanoflex steel that Thomas is experimenting with!

Man, which Shallot to use????? As limited as this ZDP one is, it isn't the MOST limited knife I own...

Now I'm off to reapply my bandage. Earlier I was openng and closing the CB Shallot quickly and the tip of my ring finger got in the way of the blade. It was only in the way for a short time, then it was on the floor. I think it was the combined ill-will of all of you envious people.

I can attest to the sharpness of the steel however.

Cover it with two layers of paper towel, and apply super glue. No more ouchy. Just like replacement skin

I've decided that if everything I hope to be true about this knife is reality, this might be the best all around EDC yet...

Slim, good "big knife" size, uber steel, thin blade profile for wicked slicing power, frame lock...dear baby jesus, please let the local knife shop have one on Saturday...!!!
