Concerns re: ssbood (David)?

Why? I was simply thinking that if ssblood was not being legit as a seller...he can be just as ill-legit as a buyer as well.
 
I bought his Saddleback wallet for $35 the morning of the 13th and have received no communcation since that date. I only use the paypal goods option when I am paying for goods or services so I will get my situation righted if it doesn't show up. Perhaps the photos he posted of the empty wallet was a foreshadowing of events to come and in my case maybe he just figured he better hang on to the wallet seeing how so many generous folks had gifted him money.

I'm guessing you are directing this at me. Let me just say I certainly have empathy for anyone that has their hard earned money stolen from them. Thieves are at the top my list of people I most despise. It was not my intension to mock anyone. People must also take responsibility for their actions. Gifting money to strangers for goods is just....... well you know. I hope everyone gets their goods or money back.
 
If I were directing it at you, I would have quoted you and responded to that. The whole idea of what I wrote is to avoid tearing each other up because of one member not fulfilling his obligations.

Posting in a thread like that is meant to keep anyone from taking the wrong hint.
 
For any scammed buyers of ssblood, make sure to make a paypal claim, or call your credit card company for a refund if you paid through them. Getting a refund through your cc company will actually charge him $20. Also, if you have an active dispute, make sure to elevate it to a claim, or it will be closed with no refund after an allotted time.

No knife in today's mail, no email, no contact. Filed a police report. Thieves suck. Urge others to document your loss.
 
Update: nothing show from Ssblood today (but all my others purchases from other BF member did show)....already filed dispute, will escalate to claim on 21st.....sigh...first bad buying experience on BF. from a reputable GOLD member too....
 
Same story here. I have never seen such an exchange forum scam that has so many victims. This was very well planned out by ssblood.
 
Nothing in the mail today- not really a surprise. Filed a claim and waiting to escalate. I hope SSBlood stabs himself with the Hinderer that he purchased at the same time he scammed us.
