Ohhh... so it's in case there's a meat shortage...

Remember that food guide pyramid that was on the backs of cereal boxes, that said you should be eating like twelve bowls of cereal every day? You’d read it while eating your bowl of cereal. Man, I trusted those food pyramid scientists.

Thank you, to all of you, for the laughs.
I woke up an hour ago and spent 15 minutes wondering if I had somehow been infected by the Corona. I could barely breathe, drainage and air were fighting for what seemed like very little space in my lungs, had me very worried for a moment!
Then, my stomach started to hurt intensely and I realized that I was having an allergic reaction to something that was in the home made pizza that my lovely wife cooked up for dinner. I’ve never been so happy to have an anaphylactic reaction to something before, how f-ing crazy things have gotten. I can’t help but think how bad it is for people that are having trouble breathing because of this bug, it’s a scary feeling. Thankfully I’ve dealt with this most of my life and I know that as long as I stay calm it’ll pass in time and I’ll be fine, probably won’t even need the benedryl.
I have to say that while my stomach pain is excruciating and the hives are relentlessly itchy the humor from you lot of chuckle heads does make the time pass by a little better while waiting for this to exit stage bottom.
What sucks as bad as having this reaction is that I have no idea what on/in the pizza caused this and it was the best pizza she has ever made. I saved half of it for tomorrow:(

I’m going to have to be more careful with my wise cracks because they say that Women resort to poison over violence. I thought I was pretty funny today while she was elbows deep in easy off half hanging out of the oven. She laughed but then she made a joke about poisoning me- can’t help but wonder?

Not sure if your doc has mentioned this before, but just a little FYI (since I'm sure we're all trying to do what we can to avoid clinics/hospitals like the plague Covid-19), if you're having a strong allergic reaction, taking an H2 blocker concurrently with the Benadryl, has a synergistic effect that increases the efficacy.

H2 blockers = famotidine (Pepcid), ranitidine (Zantac), Cimetidine (Tagamet).

Thanks for the info, I’ll remember that for next time.
