IMO..... DungRuss isn't helping CS's reputation any. Being an arrogant, lousy PR guy hurts a company as much as lying and stealing.

Who the hell really cares? Lynn and CS have made enough ethical transgressions to compare with Enron. Give it up. You can argue one little tiny point that CS might not have done something wrong that it was accused of, but it doesn't take away from the all of the crap they've pulled.

For all of the good you're doing, you might as well march to Washington DC with a musket and say that you are going to set the south free.
 
I can't comment on all Cold Steel knives, but I really like the Cold Steel Bushman.

If you think that I am trying to convert the haters, then you would be right. As I have stated many times, I am not. I personally don't care one way or another if you love or hate CS.

But, when the haters then spew their own misinformation- much like they accuse CS of doing- and accuse the company or its staff of what could be defined as actionable offenses, what is wrong with someone stepping up for the company with counter information that either opposes or proves their opinions wrong. You don't like a counter opinion- tough. You don't like when somaone has actual information that is counter to your venom- tough. You don't like the fact that you and the other haters can't run amok with your snotty attitudes and spew with impugnity- tough.

Losing battle? I am not fighting. I am not battling you or the other haters. Again, I know I won't win you over. But don't expect me to just lay back and take it and not have somethng to say about it. You can't get me that drunk.

So- don't expect me to just shut up cuz you want me to.

I'm one of those that made up his mind long ago abot Cold Steel. I have nothing against the knives, but I refuse to support the company because of the conduct of its owner. The conduct I refer to is stuff that I know he has done, because I have read it in his own publications. Others can support him all they want. I will not.

The problem is you're just as unreliable as the rest of us. This is the internet, after all, and no matter how many times you say you're friends with Lynn & Co., that never gives you magic powers of unquestionable authority. You're still just another guy on the internet who delights in faux conflict and debate. You expect us to just take your 'facts' at face value without question? Isn't that what you're deathly afraid folks who don't have an opinion about Cold Steel will do?

I kow that this is not PC, but I heard it said before that arguing online is like competing in the special opympics- win or lose, you're still retarded.

Okay- you want me to accept that I am just as unreliable as any of you- fine. Then what I have said has AT LEAST as much weight as what the rest of you have said. This doesn't prove me wrong or invalidate what I have said. Again, I know that I am not going to convert the haters. I'm not trying to convert anyone.

You either don't want me to have any information you don't or youchose not to believe anything I have said. All I can say is read what I have said and simply PROVE me wrong. Not just trash talk and attacks. I have tried very hard to remain at least honest and not insulting- though I think I may have pushed that envelope a few times. I offer information that is a lot closer to the source than most, if not all of you haters and you don't like it. Okay, I can accept that you don't like it, but you sure don't seem to be able to handle that there is an opposing opinion to yours.

Just my opinion- but that hardly seems like you "hit one out of the park" with that one.

I know that you and I have butted heads on a few issues in the past, but I appreciate your intellectual honesty and the fact that you have never been rude or snotty in your opposition to what I have said.

A shill is one who poses as a satisfied customer in order to dupe someone into a swindle. I have neither attempted nor encouraged anyone to make any purchase of CS or any other company's products. Buy what you want. I don't care. I am just tired of only one side of the position being presented here without contradiciton.

I would ignore you if you didn't entertain me so much with your goofy little posts.

How much does Cold Steel pay you?
The only thing you have ever done on bladeforums is act as a Cold Steel PR man. The only imaginable reason you would be here is for money, unless you are crazy.

Everyone else is here because they love knives, or because they are a company representative. The difference between them and you, is you won't come out and admit it.

Maybe it is time you came out of that little closet. :D

Seriously man, it's difficult to take you seriously because as Rat said, all you ever do is post about Cold Steel. Respect is earned on this forum by participating in and contributing to discussions of all types of topics, not just one personal gripe. If I were in your shoes, i.e. friends with a certain company who I felt was being unfairly maligned, I would at least attempt to prove my worth by engaging in the community before embarking on a never-ending crusade.

But I very well might go on that crusade. I can't fault you for making your position known and providing information (let's just forget about reliability here; if we really get into that one we'll end up nowhere) that you feel reflects a more accurate picture of reality.

My issue is your absolute obsession with it. It would make quite a difference to you and your cause if you were a fully participatory member of this community rather than just 'that guy who only talks about Cold Steel and how everyone who attacks them is stupid'.

Look at it this way: We're all sitting around the bar, and you're the guy walking in telling some of us that we're arrogant pooheads for not liking a particular type of liquor and being willing to say why.

Sit down. Have a drink. Talk about the weather.

Then I'll have some knowledge of who you are, what you know and where you're coming from, and maybe I'll be able to respect you a bit more.
