Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

Had an easy day too. Made a peanut butter sandwich and cut up a couple of cardboard cartons that some drinks came in.

I'm picking and trimming some garlic for the kitchen. I planted it 30+ years ago from cloves given to me by my next door neighbor. He was a Mechanical Engineering Professor at SU and hailed from Brazil. Maybe the garlic was from Brazil too.

Figured I'd give my Scagel Fruitport the task. Photo is before the dirty work started.

Nice one Paul, looks like all is going to plan! When my second daughter was on the way, I ended up decorating about two days before she was due! :D

It may all be for naught! We might be moving house before it happens!

Great pictures Paul and looks like you're ready for the new addition! Congrats! :D I agree about the carbon over "super steel" any day.

I spent the day with my grandmother preparing food for a church event. She told me to put my knife (GEC#81) to work cutting fruit and vegetables. As a newbie it still amazes me to see the colors form.

I tend to sing the praises of the Buck 301 at the drop of a hat. And I'm not real particular about whose hat dropped.

Having spent Saturday night at a camp out, I have another good thing to say. When it's dark and you are fixing the meal, if you happen to drop your Buck 301 in the soup all you have to do is fish it out, rinse it in some water and stick it back in your pocket like nothing happened.

And that's all I've got to say about that.

I didn't actually use this today, but this puukko helped make a bunch of fires this past weekend.
