Nice knives and spoons, have to try carving one after seeing those.

My Vic Minichamp did its job flawlessly, the pizza is out of the oven, and I'm signing off so I can dine! :D

Have these two old trade stimulators. Both are Zephers from around 1937. After a few hours of trying to figure out why the red one won't spin, I discovered I'm missing a few springs and maybe this week I can get old red back up and running! Radio Jack was used to regulate the little medicine bottle shaped mech at the back.

Good to see this thread reappear

So far today, my Radio Jack has slit open a stubborn packet of cashew-nuts and bisected a substantial sandwich :o

They certainly didn't Bob, I've just been encouraged to slice up a recalcitrant tomato! ;) :D

Well, this morning my Vic Classic's scissors opened a bag of frozen corn, some of which went into my "enhanced oatmeal" for breakfast. And as soon as I finish typing this, I'm heading home and will replicate this photo: Pioneer and Porter, a Perfect Pairing. ;)

My Joker helped me to me make what turned out to be an extremely spicy Spaghetti Arabiatta! :D  (The ciabatta came from my local bakery. And the wine came from La Mancha! ;))

The knife is on my plate just for display BTW, I may be uncouth, but I'm not THAT uncouth! :D

Now that is living, SH! Nothing like a fine table, filled with family and friends, great knives and good food:thumbup::thumbup:

Couldn't have said it better myself, Gev!

Oh, and lest I accidentally disgust any of my non-meat eating compadres - we had roasted beets with our elk, which accounts for the 'redness' you see on the plates. I like my elk on the 'rare' side, but not quite that rare! :D

Jack - that meal looks delicious! Especially with a good red wine courtesy of Ethpaña!

Thanks my friend, I had a load of chillis left over from a curry I made on Friday, and fancied this simple dish - I might have gone overboard with the chillis, but I'm on my own today, so it doesn't matter too much - the wine is easing the pain! ;) :D

I was whittling with my new Queen #9 in birds-eye maple in the bright sun and I got a new appreciation for patina.

Gave my Case Jackknife in CV a workout yesterday at our troop campout. Cut open beef jerky bags, cut paracord, sharpened pencils, and opened a pie container for Pi Day. Used my P-38 to open pineapple cans and other things. But that is a different tool altogether.

I used the coping blade of my Outlaw to cut out the leather for a new wallet and some other stuff.

Now I just have to wait a while until it isn't so stiff any more...
