  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

The squirrels favour this

Well, it didn't cut the pie but it chopped some of the nuts:thumbup:

The knife or??:D:D:thumbup:

Yes it was thanks, used Maple syrup and black treacle, less sweet than usual, just right!

Regards, Will

I used the coping blade of my Outlaw to cut out the leather for a new wallet and some other stuff.

Now I just have to wait a while until it isn't so stiff any more...

Nice work! That's something I could see my self trying out sometime.

My GEC #15 Charlow, clip blade and pen finished the rough out on a celtic lovespoon. No pics but I swear it happened. :D

My Charlow stabbed fruit on the North York Moors Railway express to Whitby, First Class no less ;)

And made breakfast sandwiches the next day :)

Had a little impromptu grill in my neighbor's barn for lunch today. I brought along the criollo I bought from a guy in a market in El Bolson years ago. Made out of some sort of leaf spring/mystery steel, it takes a wicked edge:

Some great pics here...Used my Dave Farmer and Okapi to cut some Paua (abalone) for dinner...Okapi cut better...Fes

And bread

Not nearly as tasty a use of my knife as Fes just showed, but it was a job that needed to be done. :D
Used the Wharncliffe blade on my Minichamp to cut some pills out of their packaging that I can't seem to open by the recommended method of peeling off the backing and then pushing the pill through the foil. I do better using the little Wharnie to make "the mark of Orro" on each package.

Thanks for reminding me to take my stomach pill GT! :D  I also have to use "The mark of Orro" (very good) :D

I'm just having a cleaning session of my recent acquisitions, which was of course a signal for the sun to come out with a vengeance! :grumpy: ;)
