Economic stimulus- Laminated steel give away.

I knew it. Time to rig MY stimulus, so # 34 will NOT win! ;)

Ahhhh man! Come on!!! I need to put a handle on that damascus, and what better than poison wood. It would be he ultimate stimulus "knife".:D:thumbup:

Congratulations to all of the winners. Can't wait to see some pics of these when they get done.

Yeah, I'm not going to lie here. That would look pretty cool.

Congrats guys!

I won't complain about not winning, because I won $25 off $5 the other day, and $50 on $10 worth of tickets at the tavern yesterday. My GF didn't win doodly from her $10, so she made me promise to take her to lunch today. :D

Just to give the winners an update. I'm still in the process of converting back to charcoal and moving into the new shop. I have the hammer in place and running; it just needs a set of dies. Your damascus is my number one project once everything is running properly.

Hey Dan, when's the hammer-in that Aldo was promoting at Ashokan???;):D

Great give-away!! Congrats to the winners!!:thumbup:

Well once I have a set of dies made we can have that hammer-in anytime. The tamahagane smelt will be once I get some more money; the ore is refined to 65% pellets or 85% DRI, shipping is a killer at $475 a ton. Road trip to MI anybody? hehehe

Holy toledo, holy smokes, holy cow, holy moly and holy shitake...

Who would have thunk. I never win. I mean never! THANKS Dan! Take your time because I still have to get my little shop reset up too and get my Christmas knife finished for poor James Robertson FIRST. The good news is I have one of the three very little "slabs" poured and "roofed" over.

THANKS again Dan! and All the best, Phil
