I am in. And i`ll try to carry Spyderco Military with black half serr blade. It is quite big, but very useful and practical.

I'm in! I'm going to carry my CRKT M16-01S. I broke the tip off this knife the week I got it (doing something stupid) and reshaped the tip to add a new point. I almost ALWAYS carry a traditional folder. A little Case Stockman or something. I never carry any sort of tactical style knife. I like to be able to pull my traditional out and not have people look at me funny! Sorry for the crappy photo. Don't have a lot of time this morn.

Interesting idea....and perfect timing!!

Since Wisconsin just repealed the ban on switchblades, I ordered up a H&K Turmoil (not a microtech fan)...its USA produced, made by Benchmade and gets a lot of positive reviews. I'll be carrying that for the challenge...never carried an OTF, or any auto knife for that matter. Should be fun, and give me a chance to find out if an OTF can fit my needs or not! I ended up getting the Desert tan/DLC version...should arrive this weekend.

Generic pic for now:

I'm in. I choose my GEC #42 Missouri Trader. Had it for a few weeks and carried it once or twice, but I'm so used to modern folders that it doesn't get the attention it deserves. I really like it but I'm stubborn and reluctant to change. Hopefully this challenge will help.

Can't believe all this talk. Should not be this difficult. I'm in. No problem with carrying my Spyderco Manix 2 for a month. Crap my Dad carried a dang Case Jack Knife for 35+ years with no problems.

Wow, that sure is a purdy knife you got there!

I recently got this one back under some shady circumstances but I'm glad it's back. It's a great knife and I'm in for the challenge.

Large, plain CRK 21 for me.

Im in! This POS is something I pulled out of my failure pile, heat treated and tossed some soft wood scales from my parents pre-civil war home on.

I did it strictly to see if I like and can deal with a 3 finger grip or if I would be better off with a shorter blade and full grip. Ive also been wanting to try out carrying a fixed blade over my normal folders so this challenge would definitely help me sort out the pros and cons along the way!!! Knife is 6.25" overall, blade is roughly 2.75". Itll be interesting to try and use it for everything I do from food prep, eating etc on normal small pocket knife chores. Other thing this does is allow me time to figure out exactly what I want in an EDC style fixed blade and get it put together!

One question, where do we post the pics along the way, in this reply or make a new one?

Matt

I'll be making a new thread for the pictures.

Alright I'm going to do this. I edc 2 knives. I carry a Kershaw brawler and a spyderco manix 2 xl. However, I am a firefighter and I keep a spyderco assist salt in my truck. From March first on, it will be in my pocket. I'm in.
Just to make sure you saw this and sign me up. Going to be fun living without a point.
