Guess what showed up in the mail today!
After I put in 6 or 8 hours of OT tomorrow (to help with Jeff's latest tease, whatever it is...) I'll have a weekend full of sunshine, mid-90's temps, and high humidity to try and put this beast through its paces.

thanks man.

fixed the first comparison pic in the review. shows the 5 and 6 have about the same plain edge space on the serrated models.

thanks folks, finger's doing pretty good. only time there's pain is when i whack it on something. if you look close, you can see the new fingernail peeking out.

Sorry - messed my back up last weekend, so I didn't have a chance to really put it through any paces, so I still have it - will be shipping it out Monday afternoon after playing - er, I mean - testing it out more this weekend.
 
no, but my riding mower was when I had to pick up the front end and put a block under it to fix a flat! :)
I actually had the 5 on my hip at the time - I kept forgetting it was there until I tried sitting down.
 
review is done, knife is boxed up and ready to ship - it'll go out tomorrow after work.
everyone else has raised the bar so high on the reviews, I barely had to stoop to go under it.
