The fishing has been terrible down in Point la Hache so I had to “settle” for lunch at Commander’s Palace. This picture doesn’t do this justice but it’s a Creole Tostada. It has couchon de lait, boudin and a red bean purée. DeHump with the assist.

Seriously, best meal I've had at Commander's was the berry-glazed duck confit. Out-of-this-world good.
