You're making my mouth water! I haven't had rouladen in ages. I had a great aunt(RIP) who made it when I was a little critter. She served it with red cabbage, and mushrooms spatzle crisped in lard...sweet mary that was tasty.
 
OK, that flat-out isn't fair!

1) What is it
2) Why shouldn't you be sent to the Pits (Edgar Rice Burroughs Barsoom reference, for the uninitiated) for tormenting us poor, weak humans
