Fiddlebacks and Food

Sorry you had to move to Jersey man, but enjoy the tomatoes. They are the best.

Only kidding about the move. As a native Pennsylvanian, I can't resist an opportunity to throw New Jersey a dig.

I can't see the pic?! Is it just me?
hmm....that's weird, it's linked to a public Flikr link, so that shouldn't happen. Can you still not see it?

Haha, I hear you Walt. I've been known to take the occasional dig at my wife about Jersey from time to time, but I've learned that it goes both ways. e.g. my mother-in-law is from the Poconos, and apparently her husband, my father-in-law, used to take dig at her for coming from a rural area. I still commute to PA every day (I've literally moved across the state border in Delaware River), so I get an equal exposure to both states now (just that I gotta pay more tax....).

That looks like a delicious meal Josh! That corn looks super sweet. It is nice to see a Sneaky Pete getting put to good use. That model doesn't get the attention it deserves much anymore.

Phil

Well after having been a Pennsylvanian for about 20 years (having moved to PA from WA in High School), I've moved to New Jersey with some hesitation ;) Turns out I like New Jersey (well at least the town I live in), 10-15 miles away from Farmers' Markets with grass fed proteins and heirloom this and that - my kinda place :) All jabs aside, starting to appreciate big time why it's called the garden state (of course I won't say this outright to the Mrs. who's a native). The Mrs. is away at the book club tonight, so I'll just eat all this by my lonesome.....

Thanks Phil! We usually do weekday vegan/vegetarian (helps with my blood pressure), so it was a nice cheat meal :) Yeah, I love my Sneaky's - have one in 1/8 and 5/32 (the one shown). I was sold when Andy first started making them and mentioned how the handle is like shaking a hand. Unfortunately, not everyone may be attracted to its design (its aesthetics that is), and some may come to appreciate it only after using it in person. But mine gets around from the kitchen to camping to backpacking.

And you can't carry a gun. But I digress.
Ha, I'm not touching that with a 10' pole Walt :D good to see you back, haven't seen you in awhile here (though I myself have been absent)

Cooking for myself tonight. Was meant to be a steak sandwich, it was the only bread I could find. It's a bit out of proportion but it tasted great nonetheless.

Looks good to me GB
I see you need a few more items but
Charcuterie is so haute right now

Thanks! I had to look that up though, is that a fancy term for finger-food perhaps?

I'll see if I can do better next time

If you ever seen a cheese board or plate it's the same thing but is made up of
cured meats, pate, pickles some sort of sauce for dipping
