I need that in my kitchen lol
I've been out of town all week for training and my daily activities are limited to very few; Class, Study, Eat, Sleep, Repeat. I tried to explore the area and find some really cool local eateries for my dinner. Traveling with me is my every day Fiddleback Runt and there's nothing like using a choice hand made knife at the Waffle House.
Jonah's on Johnstons is a cool wood fired brick oven pizza place. I've been here before so I didnt even need a menu. The traditional pizza rolls are freaking awesome!

Grits Cafe. With a name like that, I figured it was a 'meat and 3' type of establishment. Boy was I wrong. It's located on 'The Square'. If you know small southern cities, the square is traditional and the Courthouse is located in the very center of it. Usually, all the old stores and cafes are local hang outs. However, this place is kinda fancy and I stood out for a couple reasons; 1. I was waay under dressed wearing blue jeans. 2. I'm flying solo and this place seemed to be THE date night place for the town.
Beef Short Ribs w/cheese & bacon potatoes. Banana Creme Pie for dessert.

The Waffle House is an American tradition. Open 24 hrs, 5 star food and service! lol. I've been eating at WH's since I was kid and the menu really hasn't changed - so I do not need one to place my order. Scattered, Covered, & Chunked.
