Fiddlebacks and Food

Not mean at all Brian. All I can think of when I see them is how good they taste with beer [emoji3]

Yeah, I've been imagining them in a nice flaky tempura, and washed down with a bottle of cold blackberry ale. It's like an exquisite torture...

I decided to use the Minimuk for food prep in my quest to complete the ongoing scratch your knife up challenge. It turns out, the 1/8" Fiddleback Forge Minimuk is pretty fun to use in the kitchen. However, A2 will patina, it's just a bit stubborn.

I started out with some Roma tomatoes, which you may know as plum or Italian tomatoes. The width of the Minimuk profile from spine to bevel makes for a nice taper to a thin cross-section of edge that deftly slices food. This characteristic also prevents wedging compared to other blade profiles in the 1/8" range.

We followed it up with some carrots from the garden, saving the greens from the tops as well.

Celery was chopped with sweet peppers and a blend of portabella, oyster, and shiitake mushrooms

Into the blender with all of it!

Don't forget the homemade taco seasoning, chicken bouillon, and garlic salt.

While that was mixing together, we cooked up some chicken thighs

No pics for this next part, but along the way there was corn and black beans, some cheese and sour cream, some blue tortilla chips, and a few herbs.

Put it all together and you got a soup going, baby!

this Weber is perfect for those times like this that you don't want to light up the pit for two steaks!

Damn that's some nice food posted here.
Nothing fancy as the leftovers were gone and tried to make something half decent with what I could find in the fridge.
