Fishing, and hunting reports (share yours)

Man, the deer aren’t daylighting here at all this week. I passed on a 4pt last week as well as another coyote. I’d take either right now!

I’m hunting our small piece of ground this year, so my choices are limited. I was going to let the 4pt go, but I don’t know if my neighbors are of the same mind, so I will take him if I get the chance again. The best one I have on camera is a decent 7pt.

A work buddy and his crew say it’s even slow in Kansas where they go every year. If it weren’t for this double beam freaK (what?!) he said it’d be the slowest trip they've ever had.

Awesome double main beam buck. And look at the heavy bases. That'd definitely go on the wall here. Stick with it mb. I know we're in different parts of the country, but if they've been on lockdown, get ready for a big move. Congrats to your buddy :thumbsup:

By the time I got positioned he picked out a little movement and we had a standoff. He slowly turned and took a few steps, I drew, he took a couple more and as soon as I hit the release he bolted off, allowing my arrow to sail just passed his ass and into this half rotted, frozen log.

Finally seeing some deer in daylight again after a solid week of nothing. 3 does last night. Had one in my field at first light this morn while I was still getting settled. Too dark to tell what it was…and of course, poof! Like a ghost.

I know everyone’s all about big bucks. I enjoy them all. I’ve named this one Scoti Pippen (unique nose). She’s a fatty with some junk in the trunk!
