Fishing rods...huh?

I went from a glx to an nrx and wasn't that impressed with nrx. Went from nrx to x7 and my mind was blown. Seriously
 
Those people haven't fished an x7 or they are to old an still think things made in America are better build quality than japan
 
Ha...right, I have always known made in Japan stickers are usually better than made in "Merica" stickers...lol
 
I have read a lot about sloppy build quality on the Loomis stuff, like epoxy being uneven or drips, them having missing or crooked labels. Funny thing is it is a Japaneese company that owns them! lol and you never hear Jackall's rods having issues like this.....hands down the attention to detail Megabass gives is second to none, even on their lures.

Haha...so freaking true, they are spectacular. I have caught more fish on those topwater than any other I have ever had. Just wish they weren't so expensive.

I'm still just trying to feel out what excatly I will be happy with for the money. Like if the m1 is pretty good, obviously not as good as the xx but close and is almost half the cost, that would be a win win for me. I would be willing to sacrifice a little bit of sensitivity for 120.00 less
always trying to get something that will meet my expectations and be the cheapest

I do suffer from that "in the back of my mind" thought so it is a conundrum with me

Haha....nice bass, I literally just got through tying on that same Lure in a different color, that pop max is my goto topwater bait...btw...if I am correct, bass see red and white colors the best, at least that is what I have been told, I have also heard they only see monochrome...who knows

I have a Steelhead fly fishing that is 2 piece; 10' with a nice small spin cast reel on it. I run Spyderwire 4 lb monofilament.... Last summer same pond I caught a 24" bass that was prego. This one is 22" long... I thought it was a carp when I first saw it's head. Gotta love being able to throw lures where others can't and feel them subtle bumps. It was 34 degrees outside and windy!
