Flashlights

I will offer this (for what its worth) I have had side mounted swith lights turn "on" in my pocket and it can get quite uncomfortable (my Olight S10 as an example)
I have EDC'd my HDS rotary (flush mount switch) since early October of last year. I carry it bezel/lens down and towards the front of my right front pocket, my XM18 is clipped same pocket to the rear and my wallet is in-between the two (not that it matters)
I have yet to have the light come on in my pocket or fall out for that matter.
Not saying it can't happen (apparently it does for some) I included my detail just in case one facet of my carry helps avoid an accidental activation in the future, I suppose turning it all the way down would help too but I just leave mine where it was last I used it before returning it to its riding position.
Those HDS lights, they are buggers ;)

It hasn't come on again since then, thinking back I may have inadvertently turned it on as I was "checking" my pocket to make sure it was still there..

^ Welcome Juice! I hope that you like it. Just in from walking the dog. Heres my HDS 170 and slicer fresh from my pocket. Both with lanyards and brass beads. I have to admit the raised clicky comes in real handy with gloves on. I had some extra thick ones on cause its -6 right now outside. Worked like a charm.

I really like the lanyard on your HDS lights guys. Seems like a good solution to not having a clip on the rotary. In some ways it might be better than a clip.

Thanks Michael!! I think I like it too... I just need to get used to it. Hope you get your HDS soon!!

It's funny and would sound ridiculous in most other places, but the last few pictures epitomize what bothers me with my lens light- it doesn't match! It's a good light, but when I look at all of the stuff in my pocket together (and yes it matters me) it seems like the aesthetic odd man out. Performance wise it isn't perfect, but is quite good by all means and yet I'm looking for else. If I was blown away by performance it would be different, but I think in the next few months I'll have to have either the new rotary or a prometheus.

Kwazy, do I really need to post more photos of my HDS w/ lanyards?....common, guys you know you've seen them already.

Picked up an old Novatac at a pawn shop for $20, not a bad little light, good size. Threw a lanyard on it, and leave it in my console for use in the truck. I now realized that I need at least a few more lights...one for every car, watch, knife combo.
