Don't think their numbers available are up to date. They announced it on another site at 9:36am. I personally know of at least 4 orders.
 
I got an order in. There was some available when I ordered and now it says there isn't. My order went through and I got a confirmation email so I guess we'll see. Thanks enablers;)

Dawgfan, you can purshase the beads from Rick Hinderer's website or from many of his dealers. Many options

The kids know better, I'm hoping it's in a couch cushion - last couple of days were a bit of a disarray around here. 1/2-way through a bloody mary, then the hunt begins...
 
Good luck. I'm hoping for you. Maybe offer the kids a reward for finding Dad's toy. Get them looking too.

My fear is it's in the crawl space, moved a bunch of stuff in there this week..
 
Bloody Mary and coffee. Check.

Crawl space - nope. Truck - nope. Wife's vehicle - nope. Office - nope. Safe - nope. Pretty much anywhere in the house - nope. Every pocket of every jacket I _might_ have worn in the past week (twice) - nope.

Sitting on the rail of the deck next to the grill that I fired up Thursday night. YEP. :D Forgot that I used it to check the grill marks on the steaks.. From now on it goes straight back into the pocket.. And better patio lighting just got added to my to-do list. Glad it hadn't snowed in the past few days..

It's always the last place you look, just as frustration is about to give way to being really pissed off.. I guess I like this light seeing as how I just had a "my precious" moment. ;)

I shudder to think how bummed I would be to lose whatever XM is wearing the Pond Scale. It has the highest probability of getting lost since it's the one I generally carry. Ah, the conundrum: my wife just told me (jokingly) to put the HDS in the safe and never carry it again because I can't bear to lose it. But, what good is that?!

I'm tempted to start lanyarding everything to myself.... :o
 
Glad you found it. I have had both an XM w/ my pond scale and one of my HDS lights go mia for a disturbing amount if time. Just last evening round myself trying to locate a different knife that got moved about during all the recent holiday confusion that closed out last year.

Luckily located all these misplaced items. What knives have gone to never be seen again were a 1st production run BM auto stryker, a early molded-clip Spydie endura, and a few others.

I know the sinking feeling of misplacing these things.

Since this is the flashlight thread..HDS lights are are a bit slippery and a bit heavy...I have had them leave my pocket while sitting from time to time. Often it's sitting on the seat cushion, but once or twice it's been hiding in the crevices and has even fallen through to the floor (while sitting in a recliner).
