Flashlights

Those VP1s look pretty cool. My chargers are this n that...most do multiple cells, various voltages and some allow for car charging...but none have the displays like the VP1. I do like it, may add one to the gadgets to get list.

N2 its a cool charger, I've got some weird chargers for my RC helicopters, and the VP1 seems like the same kind of setup, I'm pretty sure it's what Henry recommends, or at least I know he sells them.... My RC chargers do a refresh and then a charge, and thats what the VP1 does from what I've read, and the charge time is really fast, it even comes with a car adaptor.

When I thought my " itch was thoroughly scratched", my recharging component is lacking. Apparently my charger and batteries do not produce the results that you speak of Wowcoop. I'm currently using the Ultrafire 3.6 V with 880 mah with their charger. My results are not even close to what you are achieving Wowcoop. I'll take a look at the VP1 if this is what Henery sells I'll be all over it, no dogpile of chargers will occur with this new quest. Simple, make call to Henery, pay, wait, charge use. Make no mistake the non rechargeable are still part of the diet and if not in use, they are always readily available.

This thread continues to provide useful information from guys that I trust!

Hold on FO, ive got a set of you're sure fire batteries, if you want I can try to cycle a set for you first... How long do your batteries last?.... I may also need to be harder on my light, I typically only run at 50% with short bursts of full throttle. Although my pattern with my 120HCRI was the same. I want to say i was averaging around a month and a half or longer with normal duracell 123's.......The RCR's are brighter by maybe one click setting....

I have a VP1, so far, so good. I use it with my AW IMR cells as well as my other rechargeable cells and the results appear to be good.

I believe the "easter egg" only pertains to the new models that have recently been produced.

Well, this is my first post in this sub forum. Thanks to this thread, I just made the first of the only two planned purchases I have for 2014. An HDS 250 rotary, and an xm-24. Not 5 minutes ago, I paid for the HDS. Now to start saving for the Hinderer. This'll be the first new light I've bought in a few years other than a surefire e1 lego I put together last June. Now, back to lurking until I've got some pics to add. Carry on gentlemen.

Bowman1911 great choices, they both will serve you well. One thing about the XM 24, it's big, if you get a chance to compare the XM 18 to the 24, you may find the XM18 just the right size for EDC. That being said many folks like the size of the XM 24 and the massive robust feel.

I've been waiting for the ranch to build an XM24 for over a year now......Great choice! A spanto 24 is one formidable tool! The rotary 250 is one incredible source of illumination, with both of those in your EDC, you will be a walking Rescue Truck! Way to go!

Two excellent choices bowman. In a shtf situation those would be the light and folder that I would choose over anything else. Congrats! Post some pics after they arrive!!!

Congrats Bowman! A fair amount of the hinderer owners here carry an HDS and an XM-18. You are in good company:)

Sounds like you've been looking In the right place for great info.... Right here :)

Awesome man!! Welcome :)

My XM 18 is being built as we speak, can't wait to pair it up with the new HDS 250 rotary!

3.5" slicer grind s35v flipper with an orange scale.

Awesome! Thanks guys! I can't wait for the new light! Around 12 years ago, a buddy & I sat down & came up with "the list." The list consisted of 5 things no man could own enough of. Guns, knives, flashlights, coolers, & fishing equipment. This is because, of course, no one item can do every task required of said item. i.e. You can't squirrel hunt with a 7mag, and you can't hunt big game with a 22. With what all the Hds will do, I'm actually hoping to take flashlights off "the list." Between work duty, home, & hobbys, the 250 actually covers everything I've wanted in a light. Run time, strobe, momentary burst, and a really low low, along with quite a few other neat options thrown in.
As far as the 24 goes, I rotate daily what knife I carry. Usually between a large insingo, a couple enduras, and a zt 0560. I think I could go as small as an 18 3.5, but that'd be about it. I work in a service position, but not one that qualifies to order direct, so I'll be puttin' back my pennies in search of my first Hinderer.

Bowman1911, I don't know where you have been but you will fit right in here nicely ! BTW if you own a ZT 0560 the XM24 is very close in size.

I agree with FO! Stick around, keep us informed on your hunt and let us know when your HDS gets here along with your thoughts on it!

Bowman and I crossed paths before (MBC) and he's good people. The 24s are awesome. If you need an image of one next to a MBC let me know.

---I need to get off my butt and order the 250 already. Been busy, chased a few but never found an all back rotary in stock....really appreciate the heads up(s) btw!

Thanks N2K! Yeah I've spent most of my time here at bfc between busse & w&ss. Appreciate the welcome fellas! I'll try to quit derailin' this great thread.

Oh heck no!! You're always welcome to speak around these parts :)

This sub forum is my most favorite that I've come across.

The RHK Flashlight sub Forum, It's a KEEPER!!! and... FO my rcr AW750 finally drained to the point of the auto step down from full bright, took two weeks of my normal use as compared to six weeks with a normal cr123.... and Meluck my backup AW750 measured 4.1v just as you predicted, very cool! after subbing in my backup RCR my full bright is back to BLINDING BRIGHT! Got to say the VP1 is a great charger, its really nice to see the voltage of batteries before charging, the battery I took out was at 3.2 volts, I'm sure it had a few days of normal use minus full bright left in it.
