Flipping from the exchange

At least you agree I’m #1. In serious terms I’m not gonna bow out or name call or anything if the sort. I’m above that. If you don’t like that I do what I do then I guess we are at an impasse. I’m not going to publicly insult you or any others by cursing them and the like. I’ll take the high road. I guess it’s a sorry, not sorry sort of situation
Name calling might make you a jerk, but flipping makes you persona non grata.
I'd rather have you cuss me out and play nice in the exchange.

We're not at an impasse; there's just nothing that can be officially done about you for now.

Do you go to your friends house for dinner and ask for a take home tray and then sell it for a price like a fine restaurant to the other friends that couldn’t make it to the dinner because they were working ? ??… I wouldn’t doubt it!

I think a lot of people just don’t want the “drama” so to speak. Sure I knew people who talk trash to me for showing up but it’s life. I was raised to stand up for who you are and what you do so it doesn’t bother me if people want to ignore or name call and so forth. Thin skin isn’t a grown up trait.

The good news is that now that more people are aware of you, fewer people will sell their knives to flipper scumbag bottomfeeders like you, which will hit you where it hurts. Thanks for "standing up for who you are", and confirming publicly what many of us had already observed. :D

Your entitled to an opinion. That’s fine. I paid people what they asked. I didn’t talk them down on price so I could make more profit. Anyways not getting into the back and forth of it. Different viewpoints and all that. Btw I don’t have a “small business” and don’t rely on any small earning to pay my bills and make my way in life. It’s a hobby for me also and one sometimes I make a couple dollars on, like other hobbies I have. If your that upset then BF offers the ignore button. I’ll do my thing and you can do yours. Easy enough. Take care

You buy knives here, and post some of them for sale on your Ebay store (which I, and others watch). What was that about this not being a small business for you? Seems pretty businesslike for me. "Buy things inexpensively one place, sell them at a markup for a profit elsewhere". You're a bottomfeeder, simple as that. This is a business for you, and you should probably be made to buy a dealer's membership level.

Give the personal insults and language a rest, I would prefer not to issue warnings and or close the thread.

I am one of those fellas who has sold (even given away) knives, only to see them get posted soon after for a healthy markup. Knowing that I cannot control what a buyer does with property that became theirs after money changed hands, my solution to all of this has been to simply stop selling knives.

Seriously, I don't sell anymore. I've conducted some very agreeable trades with folks who are as enthusiastic about this hobby as I am but I will not sell another knife if I can help it. It isn't worth the headache of contributing to a facet of the hobby that has less to do with kinship and more to do with greed.

Yea it seems some can’t get a logical point across without attacking or cussing. Seems like as adults we should be beyond that

Again with the name calling. Cmon man be better then that. Anyways it isn’t a business as I do this for fun and enjoy it. I make a few dollars, get to handle some great knives and make new friends. What’s not to like. As I said I can pay for a dealer member, but then what? People still complain. There isn’t an end that’s agreeable for all. You all don’t like flipping, I could careless honestly and so it goes.

Based on history (3FingerMac ), sometimes mods will ask you to purchase a dealer membership, sometimes they just show you the door. You can roll the dice or just go ahead and buy a dealer membership without being told.

If I’m asked then I’ll buy it. I don’t consider it rolling the dice otherwise. I don’t get into the disrespect and name calling etc and follow the forum rules as best I can and treat my customers well and ship quickly and so on.

You have already said all you need to tell mods that for you BF is your marketplace and other members are your customers. That's all they need to know, for you to be in violation of the forum rule which requires you to purchase a dealer membership.

Well being as it is that your basically molding a rule to fit what you want it to, then no. BladeForums is a marketplace for anyone who sells anything. That rule applies to everyone then. Btw a mod has seen my posts. They even replied in the thread. If he feels the need, or speaks with other mods and they feel the need, that I buy a dealer member I will. Not sure how many times I need to repeat myself.
