Highly recommend the Trader’s Joe premium line of Napa wines, around $15-$18 right now, used to be around $12.
They buy Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from whats left from the yearly release of expensive names as Amici and Titus and sell it under their name for one fourth of the price, one just have to do a little research before buy the bottles.

Other than to show you can, what’s the point in slicing a tomato that thin? If it’s a good tomato, I want thick slices.

Thanks to extended family, this is the first of a couple of Thanksgiving celebrations. We had turkey, gravy, sausage stuffing, mashed red potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberries, olives, maple carrots, ,rosemary bread, fancy ice cream instead of pie for dessert, whiskey and grappa for the adults, and Shirley Temples for the kids.
